When should we hire a Wedding Planner?
Once you have set the date you need to consult a Wedding Planner. There are always specific timelines and deadlines associated with any big event. Your Wedding Planner will work with you to guide you through each and every aspect of your wedding including explaining the timelines and meeting the deadlines.
I want to plan my own wedding, why do I need a Wedding Planner?
You’ve envisioned your dream wedding. Planning and organizing this day is a dream come true. Make this experience memorable and enjoyable by getting educated first. With a simple consultation, your Wedding Planner can guide through the maze of tasks that lie ahead.
As you prepare to hire vendors a Wedding Planner will help you to select reputable vendors and to understand their expectations and timelines, A Wedding Planner will also assist in the selection of vendors and ensure this process is financially efficient.
If I have planned my wedding but have become overwhelmed can I still call a Wedding Planner?
Yes. If you have planned your wedding, but now that the day is fast approaching and you need help or you are stressed over all the preparations, you can still hire a Wedding Planner for “Day of Services”. At Stirling Wedding Designs we offer “Wedding Bells” – Day of Co-ordination with a minimum of 10 days notice we can diligently work with you and your vendors to create a plan of action. Your day will come together as envisioned.
Why do Wedding Co-ordinators need a signed contract from my vendors (photographer, limo, caterer, DJ etc)?
There will be many independent vendors assisting you with your wedding plans. Each of these vendors will have their own timelines. Your Wedding Planner needs to know the specifics of each vendor’s responsibilities in order to effectively work with and co-ordinate them. Your day will run flawless if your wedding planner has this information.
What are my responsibilities on my wedding day?
You are responsible to enjoy your day to the fullest. We will have a full understanding of your expectations and your vendors’ responsibilities. This will allow us to be prepared for and address any situation that may arise. If you have any concerns or as needs arise, simply let us know and we will address them on your behalf. All you need to do is enjoy the day!!
When should I book my honeymoon?
The earlier the better; ideally once all your vendors are confirmed.
Some tour operators offer an early bird discount which may help you to realize a significant savings. Waiting for last minute deals can often limit your selection.
